termcap?

I can't opn up BitchX sometimes cause it's saying something about termcap...but sometimes I can open it...any idea's? I've been searching unix.org for termcap but all of their articles are gone...
 
It's telling me that d0: command not found when I type term
typing which term gives me some info but I dunno what it means...what should I do?
 
It iworks fine if you compile ncurses 5.1 ...
BitchX then runs flawlessly because ncurses provide far more than termcap which is old.

Anyway, go to ftp.freebsd.org and get ncurses-5.1 from the gnu directory.
