Terminal Window tip

Hey, I was in terminal.app last night and noticed that the scroll wheel on my mouse works to scroll up and down in the terminal window!
This was a welcome surprise, I wish it worked in a finder window. Does anyone know of any other places the wheel works?

it should work in any cocoa app - Finder is a carbon app

That is my wish too.
for instance, the webbrowser omniweb, and most of the System preferences.
