I am confused by the consistently small text in my hard copy prints from Mac Mail.
If I type six lines of text in TextEdit using New York regular 12 point, the printouts come out occupying one inch vertically, as they should.
However, if I cut and paste the same 6 lines of 12 point type into a Mail document, they print out much smaller, occupying only 0.75 inch vertically.
Same 75 per cent reduction occurs if I send the mail to myself, then print it out.
Same 75 per cent reduction occurs if I use Maile\File\Preferences to specify 12 point New York to be used for mail messages.
If there is another preference somewhere causing this behavior I haven't found it.
I am using a hp 7110 AIO printer connected via usb to a Mac Mini running OS 10.4.
HP help files and email support is next to useless.
Can anyone there help, Please.
Thanks....billyboy
