Textedit wont start

Hi Guys,

I am having a a problem with textedit when ever i try and load it it bounces once or twice and then hangs... after about 10 minutes it quits with the following coming up in console:

I have tried reinstalling with pacifist deleted the .plist file in the library.

Funny thing is it works fine if i log out and log in under Guest.

Any ideas would be greatly received.

Trash Finder prefs, or try TextWrangler instead.
