I'm about to return my second TFT/LCD monitor is as many weeks.
The first shouldn't have been on the shelf-- it was essentially broken.
The second is a Daewoo HL710S 17" TFT/LCD which was only $300 Canadian.
When I'm using OS X it looks alright. Not perfect, but pretty good.
When I boot in OS 9 it looks like crud. As a designer, it's unusable... shadows, blurs, colour effects.
Is this a function of OS X screen smoothing? Video card? The monitor?
I'm using a B&W G3 upgraded to Sonnet 1GHz G4.
Any suggestions welcome.
Maybe it's CRT time again...
