TGE MP3 Player shows SigmaTell Formatter

my player has been working great until yesterday and now when i turn it on its saying to format it with SigmaTel formatter. how should i do this. and after it says that i can still press the play button(which is the on button) and it goes to my music but it plays like 10 times faster. please help and thanks

Looks like a lot of TGE owners have this problem. The best answer that I could find is to download and install the updater for your device.

Of course, it's Windows only....
If you have a Mac, you will need to run this software on a PC. It probably tells you when to plug in your MP3 player.
