Site Support folkses:
Thanks for all your help (via e-mail) ::love:: while I was unable to post directly to the vBulletin forums here! I have found a workaround -- and am taking my tech discussions to the tech forums...
I guess that means you can terminate my previous query:
"Re: [macosx.com #AHL-33411-150]: How do I post?!?"
As I suspected, my inability to see the text edit/post boxes in vBulletin was due to the antique Netscape 4.7 browser I was using via MacOS 9.2 while Tiger has my modems shut down (preventing use of Safari...). My work-around is nasty -- but I guess I can stomach it long enough to get the CONFIGD/NIDB bugs worked out of my 10.4.3:
I normally avoid (like the plague) using MSIE on line -- but I remembered that I keep a copy around for inspecting developing web pages to see how they look on MicroSlop's non-standards-compliant browser. So (Ugh!! Gag!!) I'm here on IE -- and I *can* see (and use) the text entry/edit boxes in the forums now!
See y'all in the MacOSX forum -- and
Thanks again!!!
BobV
