I was going to post a thread asking for help finding 15gb of missing memory on my son's iMac, but I did a search first. As a result I downloaded OmniPageSweeper and found a crashlog file of 12.5gb, and a few other bits and pieces which we got rid of. Just wanted to say thanks, you were a great help.
 
This is true, but I think it was an overall thank you to everyone....although a post in there would have been nice also. :)
 
I read through a number of threads to find out what to do, so it was an overall thanks to the forum. My son had 3.5gb on his iMac and now has 24.5gb
 
erh... ;) ... This sounds like a problem rather than something to be thankful for. ;) Ah, you mean _free_ space, not data. :P ... I think Apple should create their own tool like OmniDiskSweeper. Or simply bundle the full version of ODS with Leopard/new machines... Although it probably takes a bit of knowledge as to what you actually should and shouldn't delete.
