This is a thread of BAD TRANSLATIONS. Post ones you find. This is sort of like the Babelfish thread (I know, I know, that one died a horrible death) except the aim is to find real ones.

I'll start off with this:

(seen in New York City)
(translated from some random language to English, I suppose)

"Active driveway will be tow."

I'm sure we've all seen 'em, so share your funniest!
 
Seen in a Japanese hotel. (Not by me)

"Laundry service begin at 9 morning. You must bring laundry by 10 at morning. Chambermaid will wake you up earlier to get clothes ready. Until laundry service start, you are invited to take full advantage of the chambermaid in your room."
 
Simpsons:

Original (Homer enters Moes Taverne):

"Isotopes rule!"

German:

"Isotopen regeln!"

Another one (Homer in New York):

"Homer one, New York nothing"

German: "Homer eins, New York ist nichts"...


that's why I nearly stopped watching German dubbed movies and instead wait for the original US version to show in cinemas
 
On a Chinese made food processor:

"Not to be used for the other use" OK *now* I'm curious!

I'm trying to remember one from the fart bombs I used to buy, which were translated from Japanese.

It was hilarious anyways. Something about not eating it LOL.

Oh, and it had a butt on the back with gas coming out LOL.

Cats: HA HA HA HA ....
Captain: Take off every 'zig'
Captain: You know what you doing

The rest is horribly translated to don't just give one saying credit.
