Hello, this Antonino from Italy, and I just registered to your interesting website;
my question for today is:
I have a network hard disk connected to my Airport Extreme base, which works perfectly, it mounts on the desktop, can copy and delete files, and so on;
on iTunes Preferences, tab Sharing, I selected "Share my library on my local network",
now, when I click on my network hard disk name in the SHARED field, it appears this window:
The shared library "mynetworkHD" is not responding. (-3260)
Check that any firewall software running on either the shared computer or this computer has been set to allow communication on port 3689.
I don't use any firewall software, and I don't know where to find this port 3689.
In the System Preferences, Sharing, i selected only the two voices: File Sharing and Printer Sharing;
thank you for support,
Antonino_
