I have been using the Apple "black-key" transparent keyboard for three years now and I can say without question it was the finest keyboard ever made and was worth every penny. Needing another keyboard, I tried Apple again.

This week I purchased a "white-key" Apple USB keyboard from the Apple Store. It is usb and $49.99 + tax.

one word can summarize the experience: OUCH!

This keyboard is wedged so steeply it hurts my knuckles, wrist, and the tendons between, because the wedge shape forces a person's hands into an un-natural bent-back position.

This keyboard has a wedge-angle that was designed for people who place the keyboard above their elbows, and people who know better don't do that.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE SHAPE OF THE "BLACK-KEY" APPLE KEYBOARD

Hehe... if you think the Black-key Apple keyboard was the best ever (I have to admit, it's a great keyboard -- got one myself), you're missing out.

The Apple Extended Keyboard II was the best ever. Rugged, solid, and had the PERFECT tactile feedback from the keys. I've got one of those, too, but am not using it at the moment.

You can get one from here for $5.99:
