I simply wanted to know if there was any talk of Morpheus being released for OSX. I went and searched, and sure enough, someone else was wondering too. Did anyone address the question? No. It's 17 pages of mac bashing.

Guys like this have one major ailment: all they know how to do is download & install. It seems to me that there is a huge category of pc "power users" and all they do is download & install [lets not forget play games] ...and they really don't know anything about computers at all. Anyone who is truly creative knows better.

Granted, there are some things that you NEED a pc for [which is why I have one], but this sort of mentality makes me just want to burn it.

My roomate is a die hard pc fan. With the release of OSX I heard something come out of his mouth that almost made me drop dead... "I wish I had a TiBook"

He loves his pc, and he develops stuff on it, but the simple fact is, he lives with a Dual 500Mhz G4. My computer is hooked to the TV so whenever he wants to watch a movie when I'm not home, he has to use my Mac [tricky, arn't I?]. He won't admit it, but I think he wishes he had a G4 :)

Why even go to another site to see this type of additude? With ManicDVLN arounwell have pleny of Mac-bashing, with plenty of questions left unadressed to boot. :rolleyes:
 
Nice to hear about your friend, wow, a person who doesn't feel compelled to think of everything a complete good or complete bad!

They are ignorant, plain and simple.
We know better, no need to prove it since they have provent themselves inferior :p

hey i got friends who would never buy a mac, but admit rightout withought me even telling them anything, that mac procesors and they'r hardware is always in front of pc technology, and i admit, there is a very small (emphasis on small) chance that i would ever buy a pc, but when somene ask what should i buy for some typing games and email, i tell them pc, cuz it's cheap and you don't need no g3/g4 for typing! so it's always good to be honest with yourself, and give good advice, if they take it then good if not then that's good too. My gym techer asked me what he should get for videoediting mac or pc, i AND a friend of mine (who is 100% Pc user, but saw the light) said to go with an imac cuz it's got iMovie and it's easy to use, he (the techer) asked me if he would go completely wrong with buying a pc, i sayd no. the f***er goes and buys a PC, (my schools sys admin probably told him too blind f***er) and now the gym teacher wants me to help him edi his videos with Premiere! F*** that! I feel like telling him: Hey you want a no brainer movie-diting software Get a MAc with iMovie, you want Hi-End get a Mac with Final Cut Pro, i have more experience in final cut, thatn iMovie, but it only took me a day to pick it up (i had no choice! next day i had to get this movie on tape!) then how hard can iMovie be??? I hate these mediocre PC F heads!
 
People ask me what type of machine they should buy. In most cases their needs fit well for a mac. (Games, Music, Ease of Use) so I tell them that I recommend that they buy a mac. "Macs are stupid" is the usual response.

I thought they came to me because I knew about computers? I guess the minute I said anything about a mac I became stupid. :confused:

People are just too afraid to be different from the people around them.

A friend of mine used one of our imacs while he was staying with us. He asked me if I thought there was anyway to get mac os to work on a pc machine.!! Why don't people just wise up and buy macs - before long everybody would have macs, all programs would be developed for mac and computing would be everything that most people wish it was at a mass produced price we could all afford. (I know - I'm preaching to the choir and the congregation's asleep)
 
Exactly. This is why Apple released the iPod. They wanted PC users to actually lust after a Mac product. It worked too. The only problem now is that when that XPOD software gets finished, people wont need a Mac to buy one.

Sales will go through the roof, but I don't think thats exactly how Apple wanted it.

Oh well, at least they proved that even PC users can find their industrial design irresistable.

Plus, its a little more ammo for me.

Macs attitude has changed, mac bashing is dropping off as they release comptuers that are just that damm good.

How can people say a PC is so good then go off and windge about windows and how shit it is. I was watching a friend try and get his windows install working today and he could not, he said what do i do when windows stuffs up and I replied, i turn off my PC laptop and go back to my powermac shaking my head why i even bothered to use the pc in the first place.

I have 2 pcs and 1 mac on my desk, My next machine will be a mac. Even tho im a MCSE, even tho i sys admin a network of Windows machines. My choice is mac because it just does everything I want in style.

And when people who have no idea about computers bag out my mac I say to them, let me show you it. Once they look at X and i fold down the side of the g4 most of them are in awe. I have converted 2 people to mac not by preaching to them but just by letting them have a play. When I used my mates mac a few years ago I decided that it was the machine for me. Its a shame that they are still expensive, but I suppose I allways want the best i can get.

* parallel port... Woooohooo!!! Take a look at all those peripherals :p
