This Site loads very slowly

I.m very interested in this site because I just installed OS X but I am already frustrated because it takes a VERY long time just to load any single page on this site. I usually end up hitting command period to see what is there, otherwise I would wait literally forever. I don't have this same problem with other sites. What is the problem? I am using a satellite connection (not as fast as DSL/CAble), but this site really lags.

Sounds to me like an overloaded router somewhere on the way from you to MacOSX.com. The site currently works perfectly here.
You could try to do a traceroute to find a bottleneck and contact the responsible ISP.
use the Network Utility in /Applications/Utilities/ or use the Terminal and enter 'traceroute macosx.com' without the quotes.
