It was a bit of a nervous wait over the weekend, reading the post of punters who were having problems with X (mine was to arrive on monday).
However, monday came, so did X. Most people seemed to have issuses when creating multiple slices etc... But I though that the Mac is all about simplicity, so I installed it all on the one slice.
My 20Gb disk is formatted HFS+ and 9.1 installed. X installed in about 20 mins and seems really stable. I'vealso installed the Dev tools with no worries.
The only gripe is that I can't get the modem volume to go up (yes, it's turned on in the control panel).
Congrats to the folks at Apple. A bloody good job.
