Scottfab: Apple usually seeds a few builds and gets feedback from the developers. When Apple's content with the builds, they declare one the Golden Master and release it through Software Update.
Right now, ADC Select developers are testing 8B13, a build with only one known issue. However, I guess they're still evaluating feedback from 8B9 and 8B13, so at least one more build should be seeded before the final release. All _I_ hear is that Apple's planning on making it available early next week.
