I'm new to this forum and a new G5 owner. I'm trying to figure out how to get my Epson 3000 printer to work with my new computer (my last mac was a beige G3 hey, at least everything worked with it!).
I need to get a serial port to USB adaptor any suggestions? Was looking at one made by Keyspan, only to be told by the guy at MacMall that it wouldn't work because there is no driver available for Tiger.
Which leads me to my next question is there a 3rd party driver available? On the Epson site, the last driver is from 2003.
Wrote an email to Epson, haven't gotten a reply.
So am I screwed?Do I now own a very expensive doorstop? (And if I am, anyone have any 11x17 printer recommendations?)
