Make that the BootCD person singular. If you will go to Charles Srstka's website you can subscribe to his mailing list where he will announce when a Tiger compatible version of BootCD is released.

BootCD is the only utility that can create a bootable OS X CD and, of course, it is not compatible with Tiger. :(

Not true, there is also CloneX from TRI-EDRE. It isn't free (€69), but it works with Tiger now. If you're in a hurry, and really need to build a bootable cd for Tiger now, this is one option (there may be others, I haven't really looked).

You'll find it here:

thanx for the help elander

i did try it and it took about 45 minutes to burn the disk with diskwarrior and techtool......then i booted from the disk and took 10 more minutes...........once it booted then some of the apps were not working right "don't know why".

i guess i'm just gonna have to wait for bootcd to come up with the update.

thanks for your imput :D
