Tiger Pptp Vpn Fails Connecting to Xserve Or Win2003

I have a Mac client running the Mac PPTP VPN that up until the Tiger release was able to connect to both a Windows Server 2003 VPN and an Apple Xserve VPN. After installing Tiger, I'm unable to connect the client to either server. I upgraded the Xserve to 10.4. The client is running OS X 10.4.1. I still can't establish the VPN connection to either the Xserve of the Win2003 servers.

It looks like the culprit is the client VPN on the Mac running Tiger. Anyone know of a workaround or a way to get VPN back between the Mac and these two servers?

I did come up with a solution. I purchased VPN Tracker and it works just fine. Apple's VPN solution just doesn't work after the Tiger release. I wish it did.
