Tiger Word 2004 Application not responding

Does anyone else have this problem? Randomly Word 2004 for my iMac stops responding, then I have to do a force quit.

iMac 1GHz PowerPC G4
Flat panel
OS Tiger 10.4.1
512 MB DDR SDRAM
GeForce4 MX
VRAM 32 MB

Paul,
I have no answer for you. I am having the same problem with all of my Microsoft Products, Entourage opens and runs fine. However, Powerpoint, Excel and word all end up saying "not responding" and I have to force quit also. I am here looking for some solutions to this problem myself. I have even reinstalled it also and still nothing.
Any help would be great thank you.

Thanks Tanya, at least we're in the same boat. I have Word 2004 but PowerPoint, and Excel version X but I never use Excel so I don't know if it would stop responding, as for PowerPoint, I get a lot of PPS's emailed to me and they all open fine and it hasn't crashed yet. I hope someone from Microsoft reads these messages and incorporates a patch or something. I would just like the stability of Panther. Maybe Apple will help somehow.
