I've been trying to get my modem on my Powerbook G4 Aluminum running Panther OS 10.3.9 to work with Timbuktu 7.0.4 and it keeps telling me to the modem did not detect a dial tone or modem rejects command depending upon which modem I try in the preferences.
I've looked at all the info from Netopia and have tried all of there suggestions to no avail.
Has anyone else heard of this problem?
The modem works fine when I connect with Internet Connect to my ISP.
I have never had a problem with my previous Powerbook Bronze keyboard or Powerbook G3 Titanium.
I work for a Information Systems department and "thought" I was knowledeable enough to figure this, but it's really got me puzzled and frustrated.
