Time Machine Restore Q.

Applecare is working on my macbook pro and i need some apps off my time machine back up. I have a TiBook with leopard, anyone know if i can restore the MBP backup onto the PB? I didnt want to start digging through the back up and screw it up.
 
To selectively restore to a different computer, you would do exactly that: dig through the archives (which are a perfect mirror of your MacBook Pro's internal drive, so the file and folder structure is the same) and then copy any files you want onto the PowerBook's hard drive.

As long as you don't move, modify or delete anything in the backup folder (ie, just copy stuff -- don't move it around), you won't harm the backup at all.
