On my G5, I upgraded from Panther to Tiger doing the "upgrade install", and afterwards, couldn't get my HP LaserJet 6P to print any jobs. It's shared over my LAN with a JetDirect printer sharing box, and always worked quite reliably before.
I finally realized the (simple) solution! I had to go into the Printer Setup Utility and re-select the proper driver for the 6P. What happened is, under Panther, I was using the Gimp (non-postscript) driver, since Apple's other 6P driver assumes you have a Postscript card installed in the printer (which I don't). Since Gimp was upgraded to a newer revision in Tiger, my saved printer settings were still pointing to the 6P Gimp driver with the older version number.
