toast- no sound when burned disc and put in dvd player

i converted an avi to mpeg and burned it on toast as a disc image.picture comes up but no sound when play it in dvd player.. theres sound on the movie when played on laptop but nothing when burned to disc .. please help!
 
Sounds like you used some kind of plugin that most DVD players don't have the plugin for it.
 
OR you have done what I did and created a disk that will only play on your Mac DVD player--I have many coasters. If you did what I described HERE then that is your answer:
