Too good to be true??

Boy, does it look dodgy. A site that can't show any products, use any names or show any trademarks doesn't instill much confidence. I started poking around and everything took me to the disclaimer page and that was it.
Hey, if you really are in the market, I have a spare graphite iBook that's been replaced bya new model. And hey, I can show pictures of it.

I think there was an old thread about the orginization, and I think what people came up with was that they do is either wait for enough orders to come in so that they can order like they were a mac store and they cut their profit margin to a minimum, getting you a real cheap computer. Or mabye it was them who went around to college students and took their student developer discount... I agree it looks dodgy though. Search the old board topics and you might find the previous discussion though.

hmmm... how long has this been around? then we'll know who copied who with the appearance!

the site has been there for ages, and i think that they just recently changed their appearance... but that was about a month ago and then i was on break the last week when macosx.com changed the theme, so i couldn't tell you!

yeah, pretty bad.
hmm.. i think that theme has something to do with Microsoft Visual Studio 7.0..... so it's Microsoft's fault! (me make no sense, no?)

It might be legit, but it says they wait for one hundred orders before they buy anything, so who knows how long it would take them to generate one hundred orders. I did some googling on the name and didn't come up with anthing on the web or in the newsgroups.

So it may be that it could be a long wait to get your order?
