Trackpad scrolling in Tiger on older 'Books

Before tiger I had done the trackpad hack mentioned here at MacOSX.com.

Worked great. Since tiger install erased it, i looked for it again and found that there is now a simple install (though i kind of liked the hands-dirty approach in the first one!) GUI for installling the scrolling trackpad hack for pre-2005 'Books:

Install was easy, pref pane works well, very intuitive. (Caveat: the site and the program warn of this NOT being tested on Tiger, though it seems to work well for me, no problems with install or use! Don't say I didn't warn u!)

Props to the guys who did this lil prog. Thanks!

iScroll2 is well-known for a while now. I'm using it on my PB. Works like a charm. Earlier betas _really_ didn't work well on Tiger. The current one's great.

Btw, just noticed that the newest version of Firefox doesnt "jump" back and forth when you use 2 fingers on the trackpad. For some reason when i went to scroll in firefox it would either go forward or backward in pages! New version (either iScroll, or Firefox) doesn't do this. God Bless Open Source! hahah

Hey Fryke, there is already a 10.4.1 ??? or is that not the OS version in your signature?

I'm currently using iScroll2. The only annoyance I've found is that I need to reenable it after every restart.

delsoljb: ADC. There's a thread on "newest build" here in the Tiger forum. Or read about it on macnews.net.tc. :)
