Transfering fonts from 10.3.9 to Snow Leopard

Solved: I fixed my problem by creating a zip archive of my font folder and copying the zip to my new mac

I've recently upgraded to a new new Snow Leopard machine (finally, thank god!) and started with a fresh install without using the 'migrate from another machine' option.

Everything is great except I cant figure out how to get my fonts from my old machine to the new one. I see in Snow Leopard's Font Book there is the option to export fonts but this is missing from Panther's version. So I tried copying all the fonts from my user/library/fonts folder into the same folder on my new mac but it didn't work for most of the fonts, and for the ones it did work for, it looked like they were corrupted or something. <— This was the first time I got to use Time Machine to restore my font file, woo hoo.

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
