transfering iphoto albums

I am trying to move my entire iphoto library from my Powermac G4 to my new Mabbook. Both use OS10.5. using firewire, the photos all transfered but not in the albums I had set up on the G4, How fo I get the albums moved over?

Did you move it as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1229 ? If not, what steps did you take?

Hi Mary,

Sorry it's taken a few days. I moved the entire content of my G4 hard drive to the new macbook. Everything came over by firewire. The photo library transfered but not the albums or slide shows. I have since discovered the the albums on the new computer in pictures. Do you know how to get them back to iphoto?
