Transgender Digital Implants

LOL, Ed.

Uh, no, there's no Mac OS X for x86, sorry, buddy.
Mac OS X is written for the Apple/Motorola/IBM PowerPC chip architecture, not the Intel-compatible x86 architecture. If you want more info on why Mac OS X for x86 doesn't exist, search this site for "Mac OS X on x86" ... you'll find lots of rumors, debate, and also the fact that you can't Mac on your PC.

Sorry buddy. Just do yourself a favor and get a Mac, eh? :D

sorry tormente - i moved this thread from another forum where it didn't belong. i never thought to look to see if there was one where it should have been. :p

note - posting the same thread to more than one forum is not generally allowed. i would have simply deleted the duplicate thread had i noticed. but since this question doesn't get asked often enough  , we should probably leave both threads.

LOL

I thought something funny happened when I saw your answer and mines was suddenly "gone"... then I realised it was a double-post sorta thing or something.

:)

Frasure,

Is that a sarcastic tone I detect? Now this is something I would have written if I had the chance to respond first. Good one!

Isn't there some x86 build of Darwin? I haven't looked into it lately, but I could swear I've heard of it... You wouldn't get Core Graphics/Aqua, but you could use XFree86. But it would probably be easier (not to mention more compatible) to just install Linux at that point.

Yes, I believe you are right, Davidbrit2... and really, what's the point of Darwin without Aqua? So my simplified answer was "no."... hey, let's not forget "Rhapsody".... which some people actually have, running on IBM ThinkPads... That, too, was x86..... You can search the site for that, too, if you're interested.
