Trash, thrown away--want to recover

I have a MAC which runs on Leopard. I threw away a document, emptied the trash--and now realize I threw away the wrong document. Is there anyway I can recover the document I threw away?

First, do not restart your computer or do anything else.

Second, do you have any software like Techtools or DiskWarrior? I have never had to do it . . . successfully, but there are some "go back programs."

Try the demo linked Here . . . and Here.

If only a document, it should be small enough for the free "demos."

Unfortunately Mac quickly starts overwriting erased files so you have to act now.

Then buy yourself a nice external HD and back up frequently.

HEY; How about using "Time Machine" open it and go back to date before you trashed the doc. find it in the window -Highlite it {select it} and then click on the restore down at the bottom rh side. wait a few secs. and it may restore it back to your desktop or orig. place. this may work ?
