Trashing File

I have tried many times to delete this file. The file has nothing in it, and is not doing anything. I have gone into the terminal and type sudo -s, cd.Trash or whatever and when i go to trash it it says it is a directory. Is there any way to delete this annoying file. Thanks for the help.

1.) Type "sudo rm -r " (Notice the space after the r)
2.) Drag the folder from wherever it's located to the terminal window.
3.) Hit enter
