TREO 650 mail sync with Apple Mail (Tiger)

Trying to sync my apple mail (tiger) inbox with my Treo 650 so that I can read mails while travelling, etc. Not too concerned with downloading/sending mails wirelessly, but looking to sync from the actual apple mail program. Used to use LigMail with Entourage to sync, but fairly buggy. Now using apple mail and looking for something similar. Any ideas?
