Trouble installing logitech controll center

I just got my new logitech mx 510 gaming mouse..

it works great but when i try install the logitech software (controll center) it says that the install failed because of an error( doesnt say which)

mouse works great.. so do i need the controll center and why wont it install?

Hi Acheron

Not sure what your trouble is with the control center, but I trashed it and installed USB Overdrive which allows you to customise the buttons and stuff for my MX 700. Its not free though, but worth it. You may want to check it out via versiontracker.com.
