trouble playing you tube video clips

Some of the videos (often including the ones from the apple store site) won't play--almost constant "buffering"--how do I fix this??? I am using Mac OS X 10.6.7 and have quick time player 10.0

Go to the YouTube HTML5 signup and try that.

Plus uninstall Flash Player with this Adobe download page and then reinstall Flash Player. Also clear your browser cache and history and use the free Flush to clear all those old Flash cookies from your Mac. This might help, Good Luck.

Thanks for responding. I did download the Safari 5 extension for playing the videos and it works great. I did clear my browser cache and history, but will try FLUSH too--would like to get rid of those old cookies.

You may also have to check what "bit" your browser is running. Both Firefox and Safari now run 64-bit. The current flash does not work in 64-bit which means you will have problems with videos. Now, there is a developing Flash for 64-bit--which seems to work but you might notice some issues here and there--which you can get from Adobe Here.
