Hello, I just installed GIMP on my MacOSX (loaded x11 before) and while reading through the online manual on how to use it, I was going back and forth between the online manual and the three GIMP windows up on my desk top and at one point unchecked a box to see what it would do; it was something like a "size to window" or something like that. Anyway, what it did was put a grey screen behind the two remaining tool windows and when I close those two windows what I end up with is a totally grey screen with no way to click on anything! No right clicking brings up anything either, in fact I had to unplug my Mac in order to restart and I had to do this twice as I cannot figure out what the heck I even did. I had gone back to the two GIMP windows and went through every darn file and can't even find what I clicked on to change it. I even set all the defaults to see if I could fix the problem. My Mac is fairly new and it has been hard coming from a PC. I am not sure if I did some damage to my Mac. I even tried to pull the program to my trash and installed it again and no luck. Can anyone help me or know what I did? Sorry I can't even tell you the exact name of the button I checked!
What a pain in the neck. Thanks so much for any help! J.
