I am trying to join my mac to a Win 2003 network which has a 'RM Smartcache2' proxy server attached.
I have joined the mac to the network ok but in order to get through the security protocols on the smartcache proxy server I need to alter /etc/inetd.conf but everytime I attempt to load the file in Terminal i get 'permission denied' even though I'm using the admin account.
What am I doing wrong!!!!!!
