Trying to get rid of error messages

I keep getting two error messages which are becoming really irritating.

The first is "Could not find a PPPoE Server". Keeps cropping up and only goes away when I click OK.

The second is in relation to Norton Anti Virus which I have uninstalled and replaced. Again I have to click on OK to get rid of it.

Thanks

Stephen

Go into Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Network. Make sure that your network is not setup to use PPPoE, an option that is fairly rarely used.

Another reason why Mac users will insist that you should never install a Symantec product on a Mac. They're always more trouble than they're worth.

Try reading through these manual un-install instructions. Take your time: the left over file or setting must still be in your system somewhere.
