trying to use all-in-one hp psc1315 as network printer

Hello,

I've got my AirPort Extreme up and running but am having problems installing an hp psc 1315 on the USB port. The hp website says the drivers for this printer/scanner are not wireless/Ethernet comliant.
Does this mean I need to get a new printer?
Is there some kind of workaround?
If not, which printer/scanner would you recommend?
