Does anyone know how to turn off the trackpad on a TiPB? I'm sure it's sucking up power and since I use a USB mouse exclusively it might help extend the battery life between charges... any suggestions?
Huh. Interesting concept, no? I'm interested too, if anybody knows.... although, a USB mouse probably sucks up more power than the trackpad, all by itself.
Yes, you're right. But... since I can more finely control an optical mouse and I do most of my work sitting in a cafe I would like to squeeze out as much life as possible from a battery. It was just a thought... too bad TrackPads don't work better.
Anybody else curious as to why, when I typed the word "****s", it was censored? Mind you, the word is spelled S, U, C, K, S.... It's not a bad word, and a perfectly legitimate way to say "takes up energy" Can we not use the word "****?"
