Turning the Master Password off in 10.3.7

I have a master password set for my mac and i want to take it off completely, not change it or anything, just remove it.
I have no problem getting onto the computer and have admin status, how can i do this?

In the Accounts panel in System Preferences, click on "Change Password", enter your current password and just leave the "new password" fields blank. Now understand, this will lower your computer's level of security.

You'll still have to authenticate for things like installing software or updates, but you'll just hit "return" whenever it asks for your password.
