Well...

They dropped a big one to Poland, but they are not the only team to advance with a respectable 4 points. And as an extra special bonus, they get to play Mexico next, a team they have a nice rivalry with, and have beaten in the past.

With so many top seeds out, it should be an intersting round of 16...

Go USA!

oh, and I was hoping this thread was about 'War against Terrorism' or somethin'. ;)

Btw.: I don't think the US will make it very far in WC2002. If they beat the Mexicans, their next stop will be Germany. Which will, of course, be a full-stop. This, by the way, goes against my hope that Germany will drop out in the quarter finals, thus I hope the Mexicans will be their enemy. -> Mexico:Germany - 4:0 or something? :p
