uDevGame contest!

Humble God
The uDev game contest begins tomorrow, and voting begins on the 18th!

For those of you who don't know, the uDev game contest is a contest to encourage macintosh game development but offereing incentive to develop and to release source code. This year there are 57 games in the contest, 42 ready to download as I type. There are some very excellent games here. Some of my personal favorites include Astrosquid, 3dblur, and The Belt, which has gotten a lot of press attention as the first game ever to impliment rendezvous networking. But I really shouldn't speak because I haven't tried all of them. I encourage everyone to take some for a test ride, they all weigh in under 10MB and most run in OSX.

My entry is called "Raptor - Air Superiority Fighter". Raptor is an Arcade style shoot-em-up jet fighter game. You can visit my website at http://solidmag.vze.com/raptor

Starting on the 18th, you can vote for games in the contest, rating them on gameplay, graphics, originality, polish, sound and music. From these ratings there will be 11 winners, a best overall game, a best game in each catagory, and a runner up in each category. All the winners get to share from a prize pool of 15,000 dollars worth of stuff.

I really hope you guys go to http://iDevgames.com/ and vote! Help the shareware community out!
