Has anyone ever seen this kind of wierdness before? (see attached screen grab)

Restarting 'fixed' it, but I can't figure out why it happened...

Do not read this sign.
It doesn't get much weirder than that. I think I did have a problem like that once, but because I was just about to reinstall OS X for another reason, I didn't give it much thought.

I thought that it my be my WindowManager freaking out, but nothing changed when I Relaunched the Finder ( that Restarts the WindowManager, right?)

It only went away when I Restated the hwole system, and has yet to return.

But had some serious weirdnesses at times, which I've never been able to repeat. I dunno, I always found with previous Mac Systems that it could take a while for them to bed themselves in and become stable. I know that's not very proper techie, but every install of every system I've used from 7.1 onwards, on every Mac i've owned, has had teething problems which have just 'gone away' never to be seen again.

Looks like this is one of the elements of OS9 that Apple decided to keep in :D
