Hallo there
When i click on the iphoto icon in the dock it will not open for me to view or add any photos.

The machine is an imac G4 OSX 10.2.8 with the original 125 ghz processor & 256mb memory. I have never had this problem before. It was purchased in 2003.

Any ideas ?

Regards

Will iPhoto open if you double-click the application located in your "Applications" folder?

If so, simply drag iPhoto out of the dock, then drag the iPhoto application back into the dock from the aforementioned location.

Does a Spotlight search for "iphoto" come up with anything? Could you have accidentally dragged it to the trash?

If you simply can't find it anywhere on your hard drive, you can reinstall iPhoto by using a program called "Pacifist" and extracting the iPhoto application from the original Mac OS X Install/Restore CD/DVD.

Ah, disregard the Spotlight search... I re-read the original post and you're running OS X 10.2.8, which is two revisions behind the version of OS X that introduced Spotlight.

Is iPhoto perhaps in your trash, dragged there by mistake?
