unable to play audio

I am having a problem playing the audio an a split media (1400mb video).
The video is actually 2 pieces both 700mb a piece. When I play the first part a window pops up and says some quicktime software are missing. I have tried to download the codecs from the apple website but nothing works.

need help!

Consider applying the suggestions of 'play video' and 'quicktime'.

There are also those applications listed in this 'VersionTracker' 'video player' search result.
