underclocking?

Hello

I got a macbook pro alittle awhile ago. While the bettery life is great, i wouldnt mind getting alittle bit more so i can make it a full day on one battery.

Is there any easy and safe way of underclocking my CPU and Video?

Video i just need enough power fr the effect and my CPU has it pretty easy, just lots of light compiling in the background and ssh connections.

The processor automaticly adjusts to save power. If there is a way to underclock, it's not safe. You may have a panel in System Preferences -> Energy Saver -> Options, where you can select processor usage at highest, automatic, or reduced, but I think that the processor automaticly detects the amount needed, and therefore there is no panel.
 
Have you checked in the Energy Saver settings to see about setting the CPU speed to maximize battery life?
