Uninstall AOL!!!

Like many, Im quite new to the Mac world, and need some assistance in deleting or should I say uninstalling AOL from my Mac. I am running the latest Tiger system.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

So there is no actual "add-remove programs" function....like u get with windows?

and to do the seach do i just type the topic in the top right "spotlight" area?

No Add/Remove like in Windows, but some Installers do have an Uninstall option.

Yes, use Spotlight.

No there is not, because it's not really needed. That feature of Windows is very necessary because software on Windows actually intertwines itself with the operating system (registry) and it takes a special program to untangle the mess.

On Mac, software doesn't modify the OS so to delete it you just drag it to the trash. There may be a few files leftover, but they won't cause any harm and you can find and delete them by searching if you feel the need.
