uninstall itunes

hello.
i just installed the new itunes 7.3 and i want it removed cause it crashes all the time and i have to force quit it. it happens when i try to play some of my older mp3's (i used to use audio as a mp3 player). this wasn't happening with the 7.2 version wich i was using before. i want to go back to the 7.2 version but can't find it anywhere and also i don't know how to uninstall the 7.3. how can i uninstall the 7.3 and get back to 7.2? please help.
 
Are you using ShapeShifter? it's a known cause. Open the System Preferences and select shapeshifter preferences button and click Exclude List and add itunes into ;)
 
i don't think i have ShapeShifter. I'm using 10.3.9 OS on a G5 power PC. I can't find anything like that on system preferences. :(
 
I know it's been said in the past as a cure-all, but try and repair permissions through Disk Utility. Then see if things improve with iTunes 7.3.
