Does anyone know how to uninstall an application if I decide I don't want it any more? Windoze has an uninstall feautre, Classic mac you could trash the app's folder, prefs and extentions -- but on Mac OS X? What do I do?
Just trashing the app should be all you have to do. If you're that stingy that a few k of disk space matters, look in ~/Library/Preferences/ and ~/Application Support/ for stuff too.
the uninstall thing is fairly unique to windows because of its whole registry thing. The registry is ugly, and both the mac and uvix have more elegant / robust solutions that allow you to simply throw away an application without harming your OS.
