Unix Default language

At about 3 months, I have change the UNIX default language on root, now I want to change the default language on my user to french. I want this because I compile some X11 program and I want, when is possible, on french. Exemple, Window Maker are in french on the root user, but not on my user.

I just want the command because I can not remember it!
