unreadable zip disc

I can no longer access the data on my zip disc. When I put it into the zip drive, nothing happens. The drive is able to read other zip discs that I have but the one I want. I need the information on it. Can you help?

Zip Disks? Wow how did you find such an old technology? Plus what Mac running what version of OS X are you running?

It is quite obvious that the ZIP disk in question has gone bad. You need file recovery software like TechTools Pro, Disk Warrior, and/or Data Rescue II.

Do not futz with your disk until you have the necessary software to recover your data. Doing so with damage it further.
